You are invited to nominate members of Nu Rho Psi for positions on the National Council.  Nu Rho Psi membership is for life and we welcome nominations of members at all levels: undergraduates, graduate students, alumni, and faculty.

During the spring of 2014, the Nu Rho Psi membership will elect a President-elect, a Treasurer, and two Regional Vice Presidents (for the South and West regions; see map below).

Persons nominating candidates for these National Council positions should secure the nominee’s consent. Self-nominations are welcome.

National Council members are expected to fulfill the duties of their office (see a description of these duties, below), be active participants in the life of Nu Rho Psi, attend monthly Council meetings (via teleconferencing), and attend the Annual National Nu Rho Psi Council meeting held in conjunction with the Society for Neuroscience (SfN) conference each year. Installation of elected Nu Rho Psi National Council members will occur during the 2014 National Nu Rho Psi Council Meeting. This year the SfN meeting will be November 15-19 in Washington, DC.

Please send your nominations to Dr. G. Andrew Mickley, Executive Director of Nu Rho Psi, before 14 February 2014: [email protected] .
